The Oklahoma Reading Association is a statewide organization dedicated to increasing literacy and instilling a love of reading. Improved literacy enhances personal development for a sound economy and a better future for all Oklahomans. Being a service organization, it is important to address the needs and interests of the educators of Oklahoma. It is our desire to expand the services of ORA by recognizing educators who make unselfish contributions to their community, reward those who are continuing their education and provide in-service opportunities that are in line with today's scope of objectives.
